The dua that brings forgiveness of sins as plentiful as the foam of the sea
Photo: Collected
Pronunciation: ‘La ilaha illallahu wallahu akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.’
Meaning: There is no deity except Allah the Almighty.
Allah is the Greatest; there is no way of deliverance from sin without the help of Allah, and there is no strength for worship without the help of Allah.
Source: It is narrated from Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said the Messenger (peace be upon him) said that whoever on the face of the earth says ‘La ilaha illallahu wallahu akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah’, his offences are forgiven, even if they are as plentiful as the foam of the sea. (Tirmidhi, hadith 3460)
