After nearly 12 years, actress Mimi Chakraborty is once again teaming up with director Raj Chakraborty. She will act in ‘Tandav’, a new film from Raj Chakraborty’s production house. Mimi herself announced the film on social media.
The actress posted a photo on her social media holding a clapstick with ‘Tandav’ written on it, writing only ‘#Tandav’ in the caption. Discussion about the new film has begun since the post was published.
Raj Chakraborty’s wife, actress Subhashree Ganguly, is in charge of producing the film. Expressing her excitement in the comment section of Mimi’s post, she wrote, ‘Super happy’.
Citing sources, Indian media reported that Mimi may once again be seen in an action-oriented role in ‘Tandav’. However, details about the film’s story and characters have not yet been disclosed.
Mimi has acted in several films directed by Raj Chakraborty, including ‘Bojhena Shey Bojhena’, ‘Proloy’ and ‘Yoddha’. She was last seen under Raj’s direction in the film ‘Katmundu’. After that, she did not work with this filmmaker’s production house for a long time.
