A human chain, protest meeting and demonstration have been held at Bhaluka Chandpur in Satkhira Sadar demanding an end to the dominance of identified drug traders and their arrest.
A colourful protest procession was brought out from the premises of Bhaluka Chandpur Model High School at 10:00am on Wednesday. Along with conscious local people, students of various schools, colleges and madrasas, teachers and members of the public took part in it. The procession paraded the main roads of the area and ended at the rally venue.
