Rashed Prodhan, vice-president and party spokesperson of the Jatiya Ganatantrik Party (JAGPA), has said the Awami League wants to enter the country anew by creating chaos. In his view, a three-way fight will have to be waged ahead. Today’s student leaders will have to lead on the streets to build a Bangladesh of justice free from hegemony in the spirit of July.
He said these things in his speech as chief guest at a views-exchange meeting with top leaders of 16 student organisations of the country at a restaurant in the capital’s Paltan on Tuesday.
With Chhatra Kafela president Abdur Rahman Faruqi conducting the meeting, those present included Dhaka city JAGPA president SM Ziaul Anwar and general secretary Sabbir Ahmed, Jubo JAGPA president Nazrul Islam Bablu and Dhaka city Jubo JAGPA president Oliul Anwar.
Many more top leaders of 13 student organisations were present at the time.
