BNP Acting Secretary General and Political Adviser to the Prime Minister Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said the ‘fallen collaborators’ are making various ill attempts to put an elected government in trouble and create an unstable situation in the country.
He said these individuals are getting involved in subversive activities. He urged everyone to remain alert in this regard.
Rizvi made the remarks this Wednesday afternoon while taking part in a dengue awareness leaflet distribution programme on the premises of Bangladesh Medical University in the capital’s Shahbagh.
Rizvi said Tarique Rahman’s government is the people’s government. The prime minister will not indulge any kind of anarchy or crime.
Referring to the recent escape of a top criminal from a police van, he asked how a top criminal could escape from a police van. Those involved in the incident must be identified through investigation and brought to justice, he said.
Calling on everyone to work together to tackle dengue, Rizvi said dengue can be controlled to a large extent if people become aware in advance.
He said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has instructed the people to quickly clean up rotten and stagnant water around their homes so that dengue cannot take hold. Earlier, money was charged for dengue tests; now they have been made free of cost.
