President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of former lawmaker Salahuddin Ahmed.
In a message of condolence issued today, the President prayed for the salvation and eternal peace of the departed soul and also expressed deep sympathy for the bereaved family members.
Salahuddin Ahmed died at 8:10pm yesterday while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital.
His namaz-e-janaza is scheduled to be held after Zohr prayers today at the Lal Masjid in Shyampur-Kadamtali.
