BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said fugitive fascists are trying to create unrest in the country from abroad, while the hidden and dormant ones inside the country are fanning it.
He said this at a protest procession and rally of Swechchhasebak Dal in the capital’s Nayapaltan on Wednesday.
Rizvi said a quarter has taken to the streets claiming that fuel prices have gone up. Yet a crisis is going on in many countries of the world. Those in the opposition who are talking big should read the newspapers. The way the opposition can now speak unhindered was not possible in the last 17 years.
Mentioning that Jamaat is holding a long march with 1,000 vehicles, he said the state would have saved if so much fuel had not been wasted. The people understand these things.
Rizvi further said that even amid so many crises, the government is giving the people its utmost. Tarique Rahman’s government is taking the economy on the path of progress. The present government is trying to make the best use of limited resources.
