The results of the second round of online applications for admission to class XI in the 2026-2027 academic year have been published.
Prof Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, said the results were published on Thursday (1 October) night.
He said 1,83,366 of the applicants have been selected for admission to class XI at various institutions.
Earlier, the acceptance of applications began on 27 September and ended at 8:00pm on 28 September.
Confirmation of selection by the selected students will continue until 8:00pm on 3 October. If confirmation is not done, the selection and application will be cancelled. The results of the second migration according to the order of preference will be published at 8:00pm on 4 October and admission will continue from 5 to 7 October.
Students have to complete the admission process by following the guidelines on the designated admission website. Considering the number of seats available in colleges, there is scope to apply to a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 colleges.
Those who got the opportunity to apply in the second phase are those who did not apply earlier, did not get selection in a college despite applying, could not complete confirmation or get admitted within the stipulated time despite getting final nomination, and could not get admitted because of wrong quota determination.
The Dhaka Education Board said students who did not get college selection despite applying in the first phase will not have to pay the Tk 220 online application fee anew in the second phase; they will have to log in to the admission website and complete college selection or editing.
For details, the guidelines on the designated admission website (https://xiclassadmission.gov.bd) have to be followed.
Earlier, the results of the first phase were published on 16 September, in which 9,80,815 students were selected for admission to various institutions.
