اللَّهُ لَطِيفٌ بِعِبَادِهِ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْقَوِيُّ الْعَزِيزُ
Pronunciation: Allahu latifum bi-ibadihi yarzuqu maiyashau, wa huwal qawiyyul aziz.
Meaning: Allah the Almighty is extremely kind to His servants. He grants sustenance to whomever He wills. He is the All-Powerful, the Almighty. (Surah Shura: 19)
Practice: Whoever recites this verse 70 times every morning regularly and with sincerity will always remain safe from a crisis of sustenance.
A servant’s sustenance also increases through repentance and seeking forgiveness. Allah the Almighty has said in the Holy Quran, ‘I said to them, seek forgiveness from your Lord. Surely He is Most Forgiving. He will send down abundant rain upon you from the sky, grant you prosperity in wealth and children, and bestow upon you gardens and rivers.’ (Surah Nuh, verses: 10-12; Surah Waqiah, verse: 82)
Ibn Abbas (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, ‘Whoever regularly repents and seeks forgiveness, Allah the Almighty will make for him a way out of every crisis, remove all his worries and arrange sustenance for him from sources beyond his imagination.’ (Abu Dawud, hadith: 1,518; Ibn Majah, hadith: 3,819; Mustadrak Hakim, volume 4, page 291, hadith: 7,677)
