Whip Nizan urges protecting rights of common people including farmers, workers and teachers

ABM Ashraf Uddin Nizan, member of parliament for the Lakshmipur-4 constituency and whip of the Jatiya Sangsad, has commented that the rights of common people including farmers, workers and teachers must be protected.
He said this while speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the Farmer Card distribution programme in Ramgati upazila of Lakshmipur on Thursday (1 October) afternoon.
Whip Nizan said the honourable prime minister is their icon and they follow him. They too must embrace his good qualities. When he speaks of zero tolerance against corruption, that too must be embraced. The rights of common people including farmers, workers and teachers must be protected.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman inaugurated the Farmer Card distribution programme through video conference at the event.
Present at the time were Shahadat Hossain Salim, member of parliament for the Lakshmipur-1 (Ramganj) constituency, Abul Khair Bhuiyan, member of parliament for the Lakshmipur-2 constituency, Lakshmipur Deputy Commissioner SM Mehedi Hasan, district Superintendent of Police Mohammad Abu Tareq, BFF Vice-President Wahid Uddin Chowdhury Happy, Ramgati Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sheikh Ehsan Uddin and many others.
