Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind may occur at one or two places in the country’s Rangpur, Sylhet, Chattogram and Barishal divisions in the next 24 hours. However, the weather is likely to remain mainly dry in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions.
This information was given in the forecast of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department for the next 24 hours from 9:00am on Sunday. According to the forecast, day and night temperatures may fall slightly across the country.
The sky over Dhaka division may remain partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy. As the chance of rainfall is low, the weather may remain mainly dry. The maximum temperature in Dhaka yesterday was 35.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature recorded today was 27.2 degrees Celsius.
The sky over Rajshahi division may also remain partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy and the weather is likely to remain mainly dry. The maximum temperature in Rajshahi yesterday was 35.0 degrees Celsius, and today’s minimum temperature was 25.5 degrees Celsius.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind may occur at one or two places in Rangpur division. The maximum temperature in Rangpur yesterday was 34.4 degrees Celsius and today’s minimum temperature was 25.7 degrees Celsius.
Although the sky over Mymensingh division may remain partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy, the weather may remain mainly dry. The maximum temperature there yesterday was 34.3 degrees Celsius, and today’s minimum temperature was 26.0 degrees Celsius.
There is a chance of light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty wind at one or two places in Sylhet division. The maximum temperature in Sylhet yesterday was 32.5 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded there today was 22.4 degrees Celsius, which is the lowest among the divisions mentioned.
In Chattogram division too, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind may occur at one or two places. The maximum temperature in Chattogram yesterday was 33.2 degrees Celsius, and today’s minimum was 24.9 degrees Celsius.
The sky over Khulna division may remain partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy, but the chance of rain is low and the weather may remain mainly dry. The maximum temperature in Khulna yesterday was 34.5 degrees Celsius, and today’s minimum temperature was 26.8 degrees Celsius.
