Young man electrocuted to death while stealing electric wire in Jhenaidah

A young man named Rocky has died from electrocution while trying to steal electric wire in Jhenaidah. The accident took place in the early hours of Sunday at Uttarpara of Bishoykhali village in Sadar upazila.
The deceased, Rocky, was the son of the late Abdur Razzak of Kanuharpur village in Sadar upazila. According to local residents, they informed the police after seeing Rocky’s body lying in a grass field at Uttarpara of Bishoykhali village. On receiving the information, police went to the spot and recovered the body.
Police and locals primarily suspect that Rocky died from electrocution while trying to steal electric wire in the early hours.
Confirming the incident, Jhenaidah Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Asaduzzaman said police recovered the body and sent it to the morgue of Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination.
