Housewife Rojoni Khatun’s body found hanging in mango orchard in Mujibnagar

The hanging body of a housewife named Rojoni Khatun (25) has been found in a mango orchard in Babupur village of Mujibnagar upazila in Meherpur; police recovered the body. She was the daughter of Roidul Sheikh of Roshikpur village under Mujibnagar Police Station.
According to police and locals, some people who had gone out for a walk on Tuesday morning saw Rojoni Khatun’s body hanging in a mango orchard beside a bridge in Babupur field and informed Mujibnagar Police Station. On receiving the information, police went to the spot, recovered the body and took it to the police station.
Mujibnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Uttam Kumar Das said that on receiving the information, police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to the Meherpur General Hospital morgue. The process of taking the necessary legal action over the incident is under way.
