In the middle of the month of Kartik, a light touch of winter has come to nature. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department says the weather in Dhaka and surrounding areas may remain mainly dry today, Sunday (1 November).
This was stated in the forecast for the six hours from 7am.
The department also said the sky may be temporarily partly cloudy during this time.
The forecast said winds may blow from the west and north-west at 10 to 15 kilometres per hour.
The Meteorological Department also said the daytime temperature may rise slightly. At 6am today, the temperature in Dhaka was 26.2 degrees Celsius, with humidity at 88 per cent.
The minimum temperature recorded in Dhaka today was 25.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature yesterday, Saturday, was 32.1 degrees Celsius.
According to the department, Dhaka recorded 2 millimetres of rain in the past 24 hours.
