The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast that temporary rain or thundershowers may occur in the capital Dhaka and adjacent areas by noon. This information was given in the weather forecast for Dhaka and neighbouring areas issued for the next 6 hours from 7am on Thursday (8 October).
The forecast said the sky may remain partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy during this time. Wind may blow from the south and south-east at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometres per hour. The temperature recorded in Dhaka at 6am today was 27 degrees Celsius. The humidity of the air at that time was 87 per cent.
The maximum temperature in Dhaka yesterday was 34.5 degrees Celsius and today’s minimum temperature is 26.5 degrees Celsius. The sun will set today at 5:39pm. Sunrise on Friday will be at 5:53am.
