‘Supersale Carbazar’ has been inaugurated at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital through a glittering event. At this market, launched as a joint initiative of Wizard Showbiz and ICCB, buyers and sellers will get the opportunity to buy and sell different types of vehicles at the same place.
Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan, managing director of Tanvir Bashundhara Group (TBG), inaugurated the car market as chief guest yesterday. Also present at the event were Riaz Rahman, secretary general of the Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association or BARVIDA, Wizard Showbiz Chief Executive Officer Arifuzzaman Russell and ICCB Chief Operating Officer MM Jashim Uddin.
Besides, businesspeople involved in the country’s automobile sector, representatives of banks and financial institutions, and officials of various relevant organisations including representatives of the car and biking communities took part in the event.
At the inaugural ceremony, Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan said that with the opportunity to see and examine new, reconditioned and used vehicles in one place, along with financing facilities on easy terms, ‘Supersale Carbazar’ will be established as a transparent and convenient platform for buyers and sellers.
According to the organisers, the main aim of this initiative is to create an opportunity to buy and sell cars in a modern and safe environment. In addition, the country’s automobile market will become more dynamic if an opportunity for direct contact between car owners and potential buyers is created.
Another important aspect of the car market is that, besides buying cars, buyers will get the opportunity to speak directly with representatives of various banks and financial institutions. They will be able to learn about various financial facilities including auto loans and car financing. The organisers expect that as a result the process of buying a car will become comparatively easy and convenient.
‘Supersale Carbazar’ will sit on the ICCB premises every Friday, with its activities running from 10:00am to 7:00pm. There, buyers will get the opportunity to see cars of different brands and models as well as choose the car of their liking. On the other hand, owners who are interested in selling cars will be able to present their cars before potential buyers.
The organisers expect that through this regular event ‘Supersale Carbazar’ will be established as a familiar and popular automobile marketplace for the capital’s car lovers and buyers and sellers.
