US President Donald Trump will hold a meeting with New York City’s left-leaning Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Monday.
The mayor’s office gave this information on Sunday.
The mayor’s office told news agency AFP that the meeting between the two will take place at Gracie Mansion, the mayor’s official residence.
According to the office, ‘Issues that affect New York City and its residents will be discussed at the meeting.’
After months of bitter war of words, Trump and Mamdani came face to face for the first time at the White House right after the mayoral election in November 2025.
In the Oval Office that day, the two leaders exchanged pleasantries with smiling faces and pledged to work together.
