Involvement in criminal activities such as physical assault, theft and burglary or forced entry can lead to the revocation of a United States visa; the person concerned may also be deemed permanently ineligible. The US embassy in Dhaka said this in a message on Saturday.
The message urged foreigners travelling to the United States to abide by that country’s laws. The embassy warned that breaking the law could result in visa revocation as well as permanent ineligibility for entering the United States in future.
The embassy said the United States respects law and order. It expects that all foreign tourists and visitors coming to the country will also abide by US laws.
The US embassy also called on foreign nationals to follow local laws and regulations during their stay in the United States.
