Joining the eighth national conference of the Bangladesh Thyroid Society, Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni has claimed that autorickshaws have taken a reckless turn in the capital Dhaka. He said this at the conference held at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital this afternoon, Friday.
According to him, all the terrorists of the fallen Awami League government have now turned up as rickshaw pullers. On this, he said, ‘If the government takes a decision on this matter, then…’
The chief whip also alleged that many of those who won six seats in the Jatiya Sangsad election make obscene remarks. He said the speeches of those who got six seats are obscene; obscene words have had to be heard since the 5th. He also remarked that one should come out of all this obscenity.
Nurul Islam Moni was also critical of the opposition’s long march within 5-6 months of the formation of the government. He said that whenever the country fell into danger, the economy and democracy reached the brink of destruction, and each time the BNP pulled the country out of that crisis. He noted that the present government has also set a unique example in establishing good governance across the country.
Claiming that the current electricity crisis has arisen because of the Sheikh Hasina government, the chief whip said the government is making all-out efforts to tackle the electricity and gas crisis.
At this time he further noted that the measles vaccine had not been given for two years. Nurul Islam Moni remarked that the present government is now paying the price for the vaccine not being given properly.
